2025 Autumn NUPACE Japanese Language Program
📌Orientation and Placement Test
Date: 18th of September (Thursday)
Place: SIS Lab (3rd floor of Liberal Arts and Science Main Building）
Time: 12:30~14:30 Group A 15:00～17:00 Group B
⚠️The placement test will only be held on September 18th (Thursday) and will not be held on other days.
📢New students
・If you want to take Japanese language classes, you must attend the orientation and the placement test.
・During the orientation, you will fill out a form to indicate which Japanese classes you wish to take (including Kanji, Introductory Lectures, and Business Japanese for Job Hunting).
・ If you do not fill out this form, you may not be able to attend class.
⚠️ Do not apply for any other Japanese classes at Nagoya University.
📢Continuing students
・Only those who are taking the placement test should attend the orientation.
・If you are not taking the placement test but wish to continue taking Japanese language classes, please fill out the Online Course Request Form (NUPACE 2025 Autumn Japanese Language Programme Application for Continuing students) sent to you by email.
・If you do not fill out this form, you may not be able to attend class.
📌Class Placement Announcement
👉Click here to find out. It will be announced on September 24th (Wednesday) at 17:00.
Please go to your assigned classroom on the first day of class.
📌Japanese Classes
・The classes will start on October 2nd (Thursday).
・Please go to the assigned classroom.
・There is a level check test on the first day of the class, so please take the test and consult with your teacher about changing your level if necessary.
・If you are in UJ500-UJ700 class please first attend the classes at your current level for Grammar, Reading, Conversation, Listening, and Writing. Take the level check test and consult with your teacher before moving to another level class.

・NJ１,NJ2, NJ3, UJ500, UJ600, UJ700classes
・Kanji, Introductory Lectures in Japanese Studies, Japanese for Job Hunting
・Non-Credit Courses: UJ100, UJ200, UJ300, UJ400 classes

＊The UJ100 class has a limited number of participants, so you may not be able to enroll.

📌オリエンテーションとプレースメントテスト
日にち：9月18日（木）
場所：教養教育院SISラボ
時間：12:30~14:30 グループA 15:00～17:00グループB
⚠️プレースメントテストは、オンラインでします。プレースメントテストは９月18日（木）だけです。他の日はありません。
📢新規生へ
・日本語のクラスを受けたい人は必ずオリエンテーションとプレースメントテストに来てください。
・オリエンテーションの中で、日本語の授業（漢字、入門講義、就職日本語も含む）の希望をフォームに記入します。
・このフォームに記入がないと、初日の授業に行くことができなくなるかもしれません。
⚠️名古屋大学の他の日本語のクラスの申し込みはしないでください。
📢継続生へ
・プレースメントテストを受ける人だけオリエンテーションに来てください。
・プレースメントを受けない継続生で日本語の授業を受講したい人は、メールで送られた「日本語授業受講希望オンラインフォーム」に記入してください。
・このフォームに記入がないと、初日の授業に行くことができなくなるかもしれません。
📌クラス分け発表
👉ここを見てください。9月24日(水)17時に発表されます。
授業の初回は発表されたクラスに行ってください。
📌日本語のクラス
日本語の授業は10月2日(木)から始まります。
・発表されたクラスの教室に行ってください。
・初日の授業ではレベルチェックテストを受けて、必要であればレベル変更など 担当の先生と相談してください。
・UJ500-UJ700クラスの人は、まず同じレベルの文法、読解、会話、聴解、作文のクラスに行ってください。レベルチェックテストを受け、先生と相談してから、クラスを移動してください。
